In 2009, “Dr. David” was invited to become a member of the nationally recognized Schulman Study Group. Known for innovation and leadership in the field of orthodontic care, the Schulman Study Group is a nationally recognized association of prominent orthodontic practices. This organization has developed over the last 30 years and encourages its orthodontic practice members to achieve levels of practice performance never before considered possible. Membership is extended exclusively by invitation to sustain the same high standard and offers participants access to new technology and opportunities for innovation and insight that they would not otherwise find. Schulman Study Group members share a commitment to exceptional patient care, quality of orthodontic experience, and continuing education.
Dr. David has been a resident of Augusta since 1970. He is a graduate of Westminster High School, the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He also received his certificate of orthodontics from MCG. He holds dual appointments as associate clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics, MCG School of Dentistry and the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, MCG School of Medicine. He is on the staff of MCG Hospitals and Clinics, University Hospital and Walton Rehabilitation Hospital.He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists and the Eastern District Dental Society. He was also elected as a fellow in the World Federation of Orthodontists. He speaks nationally and internationally for Ormco and Invisalign. He is married to the former Linda Franks of Hilton Head Island, S.C. They have two sons, Brian and John.
